After spending her childhood in the south of England, Robyn Cain married and moved to the North, finally settling in Cheshire. Dreams of becoming a writer started when she was at high school. It was after a first class honours degree in English and Writing and a PGCE under her belt, that her dreams were rekindled. She went on to complete her Masters in Creative Writing and taught English and creative writing.
All of Robyn's books are set in Cheshire and incorporate British and Asian cultures. However, each novel is in a different genre. Seven Stops is contemporary fiction, Goods By Hand and its sequel are supernatural set in modern day, and A Fine Balance, a crime thriller. She Dreamed Of Flash Fiction and Manna For Heaven are collections of short stories. In 2015, Robyn wants to, 1) draft the sequel to Seven Stops, 2) publish a collection of short stories called Devil's Crochet, which is currently in the process of being proofread and 3) plan a novella in a genre she has hitherto not tried. |
